Kristen Stewart Gets Preppy in France With Loafers Grounding Her Chanel Ensemble
She wore a cruise 2027 look yet again at the Biarritz Film Festival.
Kristen Stewart stuck with Chanel cruise 2027 threads and loafers for her latest appearance at the “Nouvelles Vagues” Biarritz Film Festival in France on Saturday, attending the closing ceremony in another look from Matthieu Blazy’s recent collection and grounding it with preppy shoes.

Stewart was dressed in Chanel from head to toe, showcasing a pair of classic leather loafers emblazoned with the French luxury label’s interlocking C’s logo on top in a subtle branding moment. The silhouette featured a rounded toe, high-cut vamp and pinched piping along the upper. The rest of her look came from the Chanel cruise 2027 collection which was showcased in Biarritz in April, the same coastal town where Stewart has been modeling Blazy’s looks. Stewart’s cruise outfit was not paired with loafers on the runway but rather a black and white shoe style with a low vamp; this was the same collection that featured Chanel’s controversial barefoot sandal.

The preppy aesthetic of the loafers aligned with Stewart’s tweed set, which included a knee-length skirt with a slit and a collared jacket with gold buttons worn open over a black bralette. Stewart wore the same loafers earlier in the festival with a knit set from the Chanel cruise 2027 collection featuring a belted off-the-shoulder top and a pair of shorts and miniskirt.

When it comes to festival footwear, you might find Stewart wearing a unique look like socks and heeled sandals, as she did at the Cannes Film Festival in 2025, or defying the same festival’s red carpet sneaker ban with canvas trainers as she did this year in May. She is a noted sneakerhead and a fan of vintage styles.
